Marie de Medici was born on 26 April 1573 in Firenze, Firenze, Italy.1 She was the daughter of Duke Francesco de Medici of Tuscany and Archduchess Johanne (of Austria).1 Marie de Medici married King Henry IV 'The Great' (of France), son of Antoine de Bourbon and Queen Jeanne D'Albret (of Navarre), on 17 January 1600 in Lyons, Rhone, France.1 Marie de Medici died on 3 July 1642 in Cologne, Rheinland, Prussia, at age 69.1 She was buried in St. Denis, France.1
