Abigail Damon

Abigail Damon was born on 5 August 1654 in Reading, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.¹ She was the daughter of Deacon John Damon and Abigail Sherman. Abigail Damon married Samuel Carter Jr, son of Samuel Carter and Winifred Harrod, on 9 September 1676 in Charlestown, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.¹ Abigail Damon married Sgt. Nathaniel Rand, son of Robert Rand and Alice Sharpe(?), after 1676.¹ Abigail Damon died on 16 October 1695 in Charlestown, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, at age 41.¹
She became a widow when her husband, Samuel Carter Jr died of Small-pox on 4 July 1678 in Charlestown, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, at age 35.¹ Abigail Damon became the mother of Abigail Rand on 9 May 1680.¹ Abigail Damon became the mother of Joseph Rand on 4 February 1680/81.¹ Abigail Damon became the mother of Thomas Rand on 10 August 1685.¹ Abigail Damon became the mother of Ebenezer Rand on 14 May 1688.¹ Abigail Damon became the mother of Sarah Rand on 16 June 1690.¹ Abigail Damon became the mother of Susanna Rand on 28 May 1694.¹ Abigail Damon became the mother of Isabella Rand on 28 May 1694.¹ Abigail's daughter Isabella Rand died on 17 September 1694 in Charlestown, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.¹ Abigail's daughter Susanna Rand died on 23 January 1694/95 in Charlestown, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.¹
