Constantine I Oldenburg was born on 2 August 1868 in Athens, Greece.1 He was the son of King Georgios (Christian Vilhelm) I (of Greece) and Olga Constantinova (of Russia).1 Constantine I Oldenburg married Sophie (of Prussia), daughter of Frederick III (of Germany) and Victoria Adelaide Mary (of Saxe-Coburg), on 27 October 1889 in Athens, Greece.1 Constantine I Oldenburg died on 11 January 1923 in Palermo, Italy, at age 54.1 He was buried in November 1936 in Tatoi, Near Athens, Greece.1
