Frederica (of Hesse) was born on 16 October 1751 in Prenzlau, Germany.1 She married Frederick William II (of Prussia) on 14 July 1769 in Charlottenburg.1 Frederica (of Hesse) died on 25 February 1805 in Berlin, Germany, at age 53.1
She became the mother of King Friedrich Wilhelm III (of Prussia) on 3 August 1770.1 Frederica (of Hesse) became the mother of Christine (of Prussia) in 1772.1 Frederica (of Hesse) became the mother of Louis (of Prussia) in 1773.1 Frederica's daughter Christine (of Prussia) died in 1773.1 Frederica (of Hesse) became the mother of Wilhelmina (of Prussia) on 18 November 1774.1 Frederica (of Hesse) became the mother of Auguste (of Prussia) in 1780.1 Frederica (of Hesse) became the mother of Charles (of Prussia) in 1781.1 Frederica (of Hesse) became the mother of William (of Prussia) in 1783.1 Frederica's son King Friedrich Wilhelm III (of Prussia) was married to Queen Luise Auguste Wilhelmine Amalie (of Prussia) on 24 December 1793 in Berlin, Brandenburg, Prussia.1 Frederica's son Louis (of Prussia) died in 1796.1 Frederica (of Hesse) became a widow with the death of her husband, Frederick William II (of Prussia) on 16 December 1797 in Potsdam at age 53.1
