Wood married first Emma Congdon, daughter of Gilbert Congdon and Mary Hopkins, on 5 September 1865.2,1 Williams Henry S. Wood married second Cornelia W. Underhill, daughter of Abraham Sutton Underhill and Mary F. Shotwell, on 16 January 1907 at St. Bartholomew's Church, New York City, New York.1,3 Williams Henry S. Wood died on 11 December 1907 at No. 14 East 56th Street, New York City, New York, at age 67.1,3 He was buried from St. Bartholomew's Church, New York City, New York.
