     Samuel Smith was born circa March 1795 to, son of Jacob Smith and Deborah (?); Based on age of death as 77y 8m.2 Samuel Smith was the son of Jacob Smith and Deborah (?)2 Samuel Smith married Mary Willis, daughter of Thomas Willis and Phebe Searing, on 30 August 1821.1 Samuel Smith died on 3 November 1872.2
     He was received by request at New York Monthy Meeting, on 4 May 1814.3 He met for worship at at New York Monthy Meeting.3 He had a certificate to Hudson (clear) on 6 May 1818 from New York Monthly Meeting.3 Samuel Smith met for worship at at Hudson Monthy Meeting.3 He became the father of Anna W. Smith on 28 May 1822.3 Samuel Smith became the father of Thomas W. Smith on 19 February 1830.3 Samuel Smith and Hudson Monthly Meeting had a certificate in January 1832.3 Samuel Smith became the father of William Smith on 21 October 1832.3 Samuel Smith became the father of Caroline Smith on 6 November 1835.3 Samuel Smith became the father of Rachel W. Smith on 6 December 1838.3 Samuel Smith with William Smith had a certificate to Jericho in February 1848 from New York Monthly Meeting.4 Samuel Smith met for worship at at Jericho Monthly Meeting.2 Samuel's daughter was married at wedding of Deborah Smith and Clarkson Taber on 17 April 1851 in Westbury, New York.5 Samuel's son Thomas W. Smith died on 5 March 1852.3 Samuel's daughter was married at wedding of Anna W. Smith and Jonathan Dickson on 27 August 1856 at Westbury Monthly Meeting, New York.6
