Mary Willis was born on 10 October 1798.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Willis and Phebe Searing.1 Mary Willis married Samuel Smith, son of Jacob Smith and Deborah (?), on 30 August 1821.3 Mary Willis died on 3 March 1888 at age 89.4
She met for worship at at New York Monthy Meeting.5 Mary's mother Phebe Searing died on 20 June 1804.1 Mary Willis became the mother of Anna W. Smith on 28 May 1822.5 Mary Willis became the mother of Deborah Smith on 27 April 1824.6 Mary Willis became the mother of Thomas W. Smith on 19 February 1830.5 Mary Willis became the mother of William Smith on 21 October 1832.5 Mary Willis became the mother of Caroline Smith on 6 November 1835.5 Mary Willis became the mother of Rachel W. Smith on 6 December 1838.5 Mary Willis with Anna W. Smith and Jonathan Dickson on 27 August 1856 at Westbury Monthly Meeting, New York.9 Mary's father Thomas Willis died on 11 September 1864.10 Mary Willis became a widow with the death of her husband, Samuel Smith on 3 November 1872.4
