Lydia Hussey was born in Somersworth, New Hampshire.1 She was the daughter of Daniel Hussey and Bethia (?)1 Lydia Hussey married Barnabas Taber, son of Jacob Taber and Lydia Howland, on 2 February 1791 in Vassalboro, Massachusetts (now Maine).1 Lydia Hussey died on 26 May 1849 in Vassalboro, Maine.1
She became the mother of Sarah Taber on 17 February 1795.1 Lydia Hussey became the mother of Daniel Taber on 20 January 1797.1 Lydia Hussey became the mother of Joseph Taber on 25 December 1798.1 Lydia Hussey became the mother of Bethiah Taber '1-3-1801.1' Lydia Hussey became the mother of Phebe Taber on 15 January 1801.1 Lydia Hussey became the mother of William Taber on 19 February 1805.1 Lydia Hussey became the mother of Jacob Taber '6-10-1807.1' Lydia Hussey became the mother of Silas Taber on 13 June 1809.1 Lydia Hussey became the mother of Lydia Taber '1-11-1814.1' Lydia's son Silas Taber died on 7 February 1814 in Vassalboro, Massachusetts (now Maine).1 Lydia's son was married at wedding of Daniel Taber and Rebecca Nicholls on 25 June 1818 in Vassalboro, Massachusetts (now Maine).1 Lydia Hussey became a widow with the death of her husband, Barnabas Taber in February 1839 in Vassalboro, Maine, at age 70.1
