Princess Eleonore (of Palatine) was born on 6 January 1655 in Dhusseldorf, Rheinland, Prussia.¹ She was the daughter of Elector Philipp Wilhelm (of Palatine) and Princess Elisabeth Amalie (of Hesse-Darmstadt).¹ Princess Eleonore (of Palatine) married Emperor Leopold I (of the Holy Roman Empire), son of Emperor Ferdinand III (of the Holy Roman Empire) and Princess Maria Anna (of Spain), on 14 December 1676 in Niederbayern, Bavaria.¹ Princess Eleonore (of Palatine) died on 19 January 1720 in Wien, Wien, Austria, at age 65.¹ She was buried in Kapuziener Kirche, Wien, Wien, Austria.¹
