Princess Elisabeth Christine (of Brunswick Wolfenbüttel) was born on 28 August 1691 in Braunschweig, Braunschweig, Germany.1 She was the daughter of Duke Ludwig Rudolf (of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel) and Princess Christine Luise (of Öttingen).1 Princess Elisabeth Christine (of Brunswick Wolfenbüttel) married Emperor Karl VI (of Holy Roman Empire), son of Emperor Leopold I (of the Holy Roman Empire) and Princess Eleonore (of Palatine), on 1 August 1708 in Matarbo, Barcelona, Spain.1 Princess Elisabeth Christine (of Brunswick Wolfenbüttel) died on 21 December 1750 in Wien, Wien, Austria, at age 59.1 She was buried in Kapuziener Kirche, Wien, Wien, Austria.1
