Earl Edmund Plantagenet was born on 16 January 1244/45 in London, Middlesex, England.3 He was the son of King Henry III (of England) and Queen Eleanor (of Provence).2 Earl Edmund Plantagenet married Blanche (of Artois), daughter of Prine Robert I of France and Matilda of Brabant.2 Earl Edmund Plantagenet died on 5 June 1296 in Bayonne, Pyrenees Atlantiques, France, at age 51.3 He was buried at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, Middlesex, England.3
