     King Philip III "the Bold" (of France) was born on 1 May 1245 in Poissy, France.1 He was the son of King Louis IX "St Louis" (of France) and Margaret (of Provence).1 King Philip III "the Bold" (of France) married Isabella (of Aragon), daughter of King James I "the Conqueror" and Princess Yolande, on 28 May 1262; by permission of Pope Urban IV.1 King Philip III "the Bold" (of France) married second Marie (of Brabant) after 1262.1 King Philip III "the Bold" (of France) died on 5 October 1285 in Perpignan, Toulouse, France, at age 40.1 He was buried in October 1285 in Saint Denis, Isle De France.2
     He became the father of Prince Louis (of France) circa 1265.2 King Philip III "the Bold" (of France) became the father of King Philip IV (of France) "the Fair" in 1268.1 King Philip III "the Bold" (of France) became the father of Prince Robert (of France) in 1269.2 King Philip III "the Bold" (of France) became King of France in 1270.1 Philip III "the Bold"'s father King Louis IX "St Louis" (of France) died on 25 August 1270 near Tunis, Africa; in battle (on the Eighth Crusade.)1 King Philip III "the Bold" (of France) became the father of Prince Charles I (of Valois) on 12 March 1270/71.1 King Philip III "the Bold" (of France) became a widower with the death of his wife, Isabella (of Aragon) on 28 January 1271/72 in Clermont, Auvergne, France.1 King Philip III "the Bold" (of France) became the father of Princess Marguerite (of France) in 1275.2 Philip III "the Bold"'s son Prince Louis (of France) died in 1276.2 Philip III "the Bold"'s son was married at wedding of King Philip IV (of France) "the Fair" and Princess Jeanne (of Navarre) on 16 August 1284 in Paris, France.1
