     King Francis I (of France) was born on 12 September 1494 in Cognac, France, to, son of Charles (of Valois) and Louise De Savoy.2 King Francis I (of France) was the son of Charles (of Valois) and Louise De Savoy.2 King Francis I (of France) married Queen Claude, 'The Good' (of France), daughter of King Louis XII (of France) and Anne (of Bretagne), on 18 May 1514.2 King Francis I (of France) married Queen EIeonora (of Portugal), daughter of King Philip I 'The Handsome' (of Spain) and Princess Juana (of Arag’On), on 5 August 1530.2 King Francis I (of France) died on 31 March 1547 in Rambouillet, France, at age 52.2 He was buried in St Denis, France.2
