     Mary Gye was born circa 1580.2 She was the daughter of Robert Gye and Grace Dowrish.1 Mary Gye married Rev John Maverick, son of Peter Maverick and Dorothy Tucke, on 28 October 1600 in Ilsington, Devon, England.3,1 Mary Gye died after 9 October 1666.3
