     Richard Wright was born on 9 June 1608.1 He married Hester Cooke, daughter of Pilgrim Francis Cooke and Hester Mahieu, circa 1644 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.1 Richard Wright died on 9 June 1691 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, at age 83.1
     He became the father of Adam Wright on 21 September 1644.1 Richard Wright became the father of John Wright circa 1647.1 Richard Wright became the father of Esther Wright on 29 May 1649.1 Richard Wright became the father of Issac Wright on 26 August 1652.1 Richard Wright became the father of Samuel Wright circa 1655.1 Richard Wright became the father of Mary Wright circa 1657.1 Richard Wright became a widower with the death of his wife, Hester Cooke on 9 May 1669.1 Richard's son Issac Wright died on 7 December 1675.1 Richard's son John Wright died on 7 December 1675.1 Richard's son Samuel Wright died on 7 December 1675.1
