     Sarah Paine, daughter of Deacon Moses Paine and Mary Pierce, was born on 3 July 1697 in Braintree, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.2 Sarah Paine was the daughter of Deacon Moses Paine and Mary Pierce.2 Sarah Paine married Samuel Adams, son of Joseph Adams and Hannah Bass, on 6 October 1720 in Braintree, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.2 Sarah Paine died on 23 June 1777 at age 79.2 She was buried at Hancock Cemetery, Braintree, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.2
     She became the mother of Samuel Adams on 15 June 1723.2 Sarah Paine became the mother of Sarah Adams on 4 March 1725/26.2 Sarah Paine became the mother of Mary Adams on 4 April 1728.2 Sarah's daughter Mary Adams died on 5 July 1730 in Braintree, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.2 Sarah Paine became the mother of Joseph Adams on 27 December 1730.2 Sarah Paine became the mother of Moses Adams on 31 January 1732/33.2 Sarah Paine became the mother of Aaron Adams on 29 July 1736.2 Sarah Paine became the mother of Elijah Adams on 16 March 1738.2 Sarah's son Aaron Adams died on 6 March 1740 in Braintree, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.2 Sarah Paine became the mother of Nathaniel Adams on 9 January 1745.2 Sarah Paine became a widow with the death of her husband, Samuel Adams on 17 July 1751.2
