Prince Louis Alexander was born on 24 May 1854.1 He married Princess Victoria Alberta (of Hesse), daughter of Grand Duke Louis (of Hesse) and Princess Alice Maud Mary (of Saxe-Coburg), on 30 April 1884.1,2 Prince Louis Alexander died on 11 September 1921 at age 67.1
