Signer John Hart Esq. was born in 1711 in Stonington, Connecticut.2,3 He married Deborah Scudder, daughter of Lieutenant Richard Betts Scudder and Hanna (?), between 1741 and 1767.3 Signer John Hart Esq. died on 11 May 1779 at 1st Baptist Courtyard, Hopewell, Mercer County, New Jersey.2,3 His estate was probated on 23 May 1779.
