Issac Wood was born on 21 August 1793 in Clinton Town, Duchess County, New York.² He was the son of Samuel Wood and Mary U. Searing.² Issac Wood married Nancy Morrell, daughter of Andrew Morrell and Lucretia (?), on 20 April 1818.² Issac Wood married Mary Bennett, daughter of Isaac Bennett and Mary (?), on 25 August 1829.² Issac Wood married Margaret Hicks, daughter of John Hicks and Phebe (?), on 10 May 1840.² Issac Wood died on 25 March 1868 at age 74.²
He met for worship at at Purchase Monthly Meeting.¹ He became the father of Ann Augusta Wood on 7 April 1819.² Issac's daughter Ann Augusta Wood died on 19 March 1820.² Issac Wood became the father of Ann Augusta Wood on 28 September 1820.² Issac Wood became a widower with the death of his wife, Nancy Morrell on 23 December 1820 at age 22.² Issac Wood became a widower with the death of his wife, Mary Bennett on 2 July 1830 in Bellevue, New York, at age 28.² Issac Wood was Quaker.² He became the father of Isaac Francis Wood on 15 July 1841.² Issac's daughter was married at wedding of Ann Augusta Wood and Dr Thomas F. Cock on 17 May 1842.² Issac's father Samuel Wood died on 5 May 1844.^1,2 Issac's mother Mary U. Searing died on 19 June 1855.¹ Issac's daughter Ann Augusta Wood died on 7 April 1863.²
