     Josias Standish was born say 1633 in New Plymouth Colony.2 He was the son of Captain Myles Standish and Barbara (?). Josias Standish married first Mary Dingley on 19 December 1654 in Marshfield, (now Plymouth County), New Plymouth Colony.2 Josias Standish married second Sarah Allen, daughter of Samuel Allen, between 1655 and 1669.2
     Josias Standish was an heir in the will of Captain Myles Standish dated 7 March 1655/56.2
