     Hester Mahieu was born between 1582 and 1588 in Canterbury, Kent, England.1 She was the daughter of Jacques Mahieu and Jeanne (?). Hester Mahieu married Pilgrim Francis Cooke, son of Richard Cooke and Alice Caunton, after 30 June 1603 in Leyden, Holland.1 Hester Mahieu and Pilgrim Francis Cooke were engaged on 30 June 1603 in Leyden, Holland.1 Hester Mahieu died on 8 June 1666 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.1
     She immigrated with Jane Cooke, Jacob Cooke and Elizabeth Cooke in August 1623 on the Ship 'Anne'.1
