     Princess Anne (of Denmark) was born on 12 December 1574 in Skanderborg, Skanderborg, Denmark.1 She was the daughter of King Frederick II (of Denmark) and Princess Sofie (of Mecklenburg).2,1 Princess Anne (of Denmark) married King James VI & I Stuart VI of Scotland and I of England, son of Henry Stewart and Mary Stuart Queen of Scotts, on 23 November 1589 in Oslo, Norway.1,2 Princess Anne (of Denmark) died on 2 March 1618 at Hampton Court Palace, Richmond, Surrey, England, at age 43.1 She was buried on 13 May 1619 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, Middlesex, England.1
