     King Edward IV (of England) was born on 28 April 1442 in Rouen, Seine-Maritime, France.2 He was the son of Richard Plantagenet and Cecily Neville.1 King Edward IV (of England) was christened at Cathedrale, Rouen, Seine-Maritime, France.2 He married Elizabeth Woodville, daughter of Richard Wydeville and Jacquette De Jacqueline De Luxembourg, on 1 May 1464 in Grafton Regis, Northamptonshire, England.2,1 King Edward IV (of England) died on 9 April 1483 at Palace, Westminster, Middlesex, England, at age 40.2 He was buried on 18 April 1483 at St. George's Chapel, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2
     He became King of England in 1461 replacing King Henry VI (of England).1 King Edward IV (of England) was replaced as King of England by King Henry VI (of England) in 1470.1 King Edward IV (of England) became King of England in 1471 replacing King Henry VI (of England).1 King Edward IV (of England) was replaced as King of England by King Edward V (of England) in 1483.1
