Captain Edward Hart was born in 1690.^2,1 He was the son of John Hart. Captain Edward Hart married Martha Furman, daughter of Josias Furman Jr., on 17 May 1712 at Presbyterian Church of Newtown, Long Island.¹ Captain Edward Hart died in July 1752.¹
