     Samuel Bass was baptized on 11 May 1626 in Saffron, Walden, Essex, England.1 He was the son of Deacon Samuel Bass and Ann Saville. Samuel Bass married Mary Howard, daughter of Robert Howard, before 1653.1 Samuel Bass died before 1653 survived by Mary Howard.1
