     Deacon Samuel Bass was born on 25 March 1660 in Braintree, Norfolk County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.1,3,4 He was the son of John Bass and Ruth Alden.4,1 Deacon Samuel Bass married Mercy Marsh before 1694. Deacon Samuel Bass married Bethiah Nightingale after 1695. Deacon Samuel Bass married Mary Adams, daughter of Joseph Adams and Abigail Baxter, in 1696 in Braintree, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.4,5 Deacon Samuel Bass died on 20 February 1750/51 in East Bridgewater, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, at age 90.4,1 He was buried at Gr 16, Old Cemetery.2
