Taber is also recorded born on 2 August 1832 in New Bedford, Bristol County, Massachusetts.1 He married Mary Jane Howland, daughter of Augustus Howland and Phebe Jane (?), on 25 May 1854 in Ledyard, New York.1 Abraham S. Taber died on 29 November 1898 at age 66.1
