Rev John Cotton was born on 15 July 1693.1 He was the son of Rev Rowland Cotton and Elizabeth Saltonstall.1 Rev John Cotton married Mary Gibbs, daughter of Robert Gibbs and Mary Shrimpton, on 19 February 1719.1 Rev John Cotton died on 25 May 1757 at age 63.1
