     Ralph Sprague was born circa 1595 in Upway, Dorset, England.2 He was the son of Edward Sprague and Christian (?).2 Ralph Sprague married Joanna Warren, daughter of Richard Warren, on 15 August 1623 in Fordington, St. George, Dorset, England.1,2 Ralph Sprague died in November 1650 in Malden, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, survived by Joanna Warren.2
     Ralph Sprague was a Fuller.2 He and William Sprague immigrated with Richard Sprague in 1629 to in Charlestown, (now Suffolk County), Massachusetts Bay Colony.2 Ralph Sprague became the father of Richard Sprague circa 1630.2 Ralph Sprague was listed requesting Freeman on 19 October 1630.2 He and Joanna Warren were admitteed to the church in Boston, (now Suffolk County), Massachusetts Bay Colony, in 1631.2 Ralph Sprague was listed a Freeman on 18 May 1631 in Massachusetts Bay Colony.2 He and Joanna Warren were founding members of the church in Charlestown, (now Suffolk County), Massachusetts Bay Colony, on 2 November 1632.2

     Joanna Warren was born between 1587 and 1608?3 She was the daughter of Richard Warren.2 Joanna Warren married first Ralph Sprague, son of Edward Sprague and Christian (?), on 15 August 1623 in Fordington, St. George, Dorset, England.1,2 Joanna Warren married second Edward Converse in 1663.2 Joanna Warren died on 24 February 1680 in Woburn, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.2
     She became the mother of Richard Sprague circa 1630.2 Joanna Warren and Ralph Sprague were admitteed to the church in Boston, (now Suffolk County), Massachusetts Bay Colony, in 1631.2 Joanna Warren and Ralph Sprague were founding members of the church in Charlestown, (now Suffolk County), Massachusetts Bay Colony, on 2 November 1632.2 Joanna Warren became a widow with the death of her husband, Ralph Sprague in November 1650 in Malden, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.2 Joanna's son Jonathan Sprague died in December 1650 in Malden, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.2 Joanna's son was married at wedding of John Sprague and Lydia Goffe on 2 May 1651 in Malden, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.2 Joanna's son was married at wedding of Samuel Sprague and Rebecca Crawford on 23 August 1655 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.2 Joanna Warren became a widow with the death of her husband, Edward Converse on 10 August 1663 in Woburn, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, at age 74.2 Joanna's son was married at wedding of Phineas Sprague and Mary Carrington on 11 December 1666 in Malden, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.2 Joanna's son was married at wedding of Richard Sprague and Eunice Chester on 25 February 1672/73 in Charlestown, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.4 Joanna's son was married at wedding of Phineas Sprague and Sarah Hasey on 15 December 1674; This differs from what is listed in the Great Migration Begins.1
