     John Carmen was born before 1608.2 He married Florence (?).1 John Carmen died before 29 May 1654 in Hempstead, Long Island, New York, survived by Florence (?).2
     John Carmen immigrated in 1631 to in Roxbury, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.1,2 He was admitted to the church in Roxbury, (now Suffolk County), Massachusetts Bay Colony, in 1632.2 He became the father of John Carmen on 8 July 1633.2 John Carmen became the father of Abigail Carmen in July 1635.2 John Carmen became the father of Caleb Carmen on 1 March 1639/40.2 As of 1641, John Carmen lived in Stamford, Connecticut.1 As of 1644, John Carmen lived in Hempstead, Long Island, New York.1 He became the father of Joshua Carmen on 9 January 1645/46.2 John Carmen and Rev James Carman were possibly related.1
