     King Edmund I "the Deed Doer" (?) was born circa 922 in Wessex, England.2 He was the son of King Edward I 'The Elder' (of England) and Queen Edgiva (of England). King Edmund I "the Deed Doer" (?) married Queen Elgiva (of England) before 943. King Edmund I "the Deed Doer" (?) married Helfthryth (of Damerham), daughter of (?) Alfgar, after 944. King Edmund I "the Deed Doer" (?) died Murdered by a robber on 26 May 946 in Pucklechurch, Gloucestershire, England.1
     King Edmund I "the Deed Doer" (?) became King of England in 939 replacing King Athelstan (of England).3 King Edmund I "the Deed Doer" (?) became a widower with the death of his wife, Queen Elgiva (of England) in 944.1 King Edmund I "the Deed Doer" (?) was replaced as King of England by King Edred (of England) in 946.3
