     Francis Sherman was born before 1540.2 He was the son of Thomas Sherman and Jane Waller.2 Francis Sherman married Sibbell Grey, daughter of Thomas Grey and Ann Plumsted, between 1550 and 1583? in Thrandeston, Suffolk, England.3,2 Francis Sherman died in 1605.2 He was buried on 3 October 1605 in Diss, Norfolk, England.2 His estate was probated on 27 November 1605.2
     He left a will on 21 October 1602.2
