     Miriam Matthews was born on 11 August 1786.1 She was the daughter of William Matthews and Ann Griffith.1 Miriam Matthews married Jacob Burdg, son of Jacob Burdg and Judith Smith, on 9 December 1807 in Redstone, Pennsylvania.1 Miriam Matthews died after 1860.1
