     Richard De Chilham was born circa 1215 in Chilham, Kent, England.1 He was the son of Richard Fitzroy and Rohsia (Rose) Dover.1 Richard De Chilham married Countess Maud (of Angus), daughter of Earl Malcolm (of Angus) and Mary (Maud) De Berkeley, before 21 December 1247 in Dover, Kent, England.1 Richard De Chilham died on 6 August 1270 of Carthage, Africa.1
