     Phillippa Sherman was born on 1 October 1652 in Portsmouth, Newport County, Rhode Island.2,1 She was the daughter of Philip Sherman and Sarah Odding.1 Phillippa Sherman married Benjamin Chase, son of William Chase and Mary (?), before 1674.1 Phillippa Sherman died between 1679 and 1746.2
      Phillippa Sherman was also known as Philip Sherman.1 She was an heir in the will of Philip Sherman dated 31 July 1681.1
