     Thomas Damon was born before 28 October 1627. He was baptized on 28 October 1627 in Faversham, Kent, England.1 He was the son of Thomas Damon and Rachel (?). Thomas Damon died on 7 December 1683 in Reading, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.2
      It is this son who is thought to be the progenitor of the Wayland family of Damons, although proof is yet to be found.1 He immigrated in 1650.2
