     Mary Prior was born on 22 May 1738 in Oyster Bay, Long Island, New York.2,4 She was the daughter of Samuel Prior and Mary Powell.2,3 Mary Prior married John Searing, son of John Searing and Elizabeth Raynor, on 5 January 1764.2,3 Mary Prior died on 23 October 1836 at age 98.4
