Jeanne de Valois was born circa 1294 in Valois, France.1 She was the daughter of Prince Charles I (of Valois) and Princess Marguerite (of Naples and Sicily).1 Jeanne de Valois is also recorded born circa 1294/95 of Longpont, Aisne, France.2 She married Count William III d'Avesnes, son of Count Jean II d'Avesnes and Philippa (of Luxemberg), on 19 May 1305 in Chauny.1 Jeanne de Valois died on 7 March 1342 in Fontenelle, Yonne, France.2,1
