King Magnus (of Livonia) was born on 26 August 1540 in K2benhavn Slot, K2benhavn, Denmark.1 He was the son of King Christian III (of Denmark) and Princess Dorothea (of Saxony-Lauenburg).1 King Magnus (of Livonia) died on 28 March 1583 in Pilten, Courland, Livonia, at age 42.1 He was buried in 1662 in Roskilde Domkirke, K2benhavn, K2benhavn, Denmark.1
