     Princess Marie of France was born in 1145 in France.1,2 She was the daughter of King Louis VII "the Young" (of France) and Queen Eleanor (of Aquitaine).2 Princess Marie of France married Count Henry I "the Generous" of Champagne and Brie, son of Count Thibaud IV (II) (of Blois and Champagne) and Mathilda von Sponheim, in 1164. Princess Marie of France died on 11 March 1198.1,2
