     Margaret (of Provence) was born in 1221 at St. Maime B., Forcalquier, Bourgogne.2 She was the daughter of Count Raymond Berenger V (IV) (of Provence & Forcalquier) and Beatrice (of Savoy).2 Margaret (of Provence) married King Louis IX "St Louis" (of France), son of King Louis VIII "the Lion" (of France) and Princess Blanche (of Castile), on 27 May 1234 in Sens, France; by permission of Pope Gregory IX.3 Margaret (of Provence) died on 21 December 1295 in Paris, Isle De France, France.2 She was buried in Saint Denis, Isle De France, France.2
