     Princess Hedwig (of Pfalz-Neuburg) was born on 18 July 1673 in Dhusseldorf, Rheinland, Prussia.2 She was the daughter of Elector Philipp Wilhelm (of Palatine) and Princess Elisabeth Amalie (of Hesse-Darmstadt).2 Princess Hedwig (of Pfalz-Neuburg) married Prince James Sobieski, son of King John III (of Poland) and Queen Marie Casimiere De La Grange (of Poland), on 25 March 1691 in Warszawa, Warszawa, Poland.2,3 Princess Hedwig (of Pfalz-Neuburg) died on 10 August 1722 in Ohlau, Schlesien, Prussia, at age 49.2
     Hedwig's father Elector Philipp Wilhelm (of Palatine) died on 12 September 1690 in Wien, Wien, Austria.2 Princess Hedwig (of Pfalz-Neuburg) became the mother of Maria Leopoldyna Sobieska on 30 April 1693.2 Princess Hedwig (of Pfalz-Neuburg) became the mother of Maria Kazimiera Sobieska on 20 January 1695.2 Hedwig's daughter Maria Leopoldyna Sobieska died on 12 July 1695.2 Princess Hedwig (of Pfalz-Neuburg) became the mother of Maria Karolina Sobieska on 15 November 1697.2 Princess Hedwig (of Pfalz-Neuburg) became the mother of Jan Sobieski on 21 October 1699.2 Princess Hedwig (of Pfalz-Neuburg) became the mother of Princess Mary Clementina Sobieski on 18 July 1702.2 Hedwig's daughter Maria Magdalena Sobieska died on 3 August 1704.2 Princess Hedwig (of Pfalz-Neuburg) became the mother of Maria Magdalena Sobieska on 3 August 1704.2 Hedwig's mother Princess Elisabeth Amalie (of Hesse-Darmstadt) died on 4 August 1709 in Schwaben, Bavaria.2
