     Sophia Hanover was born on 2 November 1777 in Buckingham, London, England.1 She was the daughter of King George III Hanover of England and Sophia Charlotte (of Mecklenburg-Strelitz).2 Sophia Hanover married King Ernest Augustus I (of Hanover), son of King George III Hanover of England and Sophia Charlotte (of Mecklenburg-Strelitz).1 Sophia Hanover died on 27 May 1848 in Kensington, London, England, at age 70.1
