     King Duncan I (of Scotland) was born circa 1013 of Atholl, Perthshire, Scotland.2 He was the son of Crinan De Mormaer and Princess Bethoc (Beatrix) (of Scotland).1 King Duncan I (of Scotland) married Sibyl Fitzsiward, daughter of Earl Seward (of Northumbia), in 1030 in Scotland.2 King Duncan I (of Scotland) died on 14 August 1040 in Iona, Near Elgin, Scotland.2 He was buried in Iona, Near Elgin, Scotland.2
     King Duncan I (of Scotland) became King of Scotland in 1034 replacing King Malcolm II (of Scotland).1 King Duncan I (of Scotland) was replaced as King of Scotland by King Macbeth (of Scotland) in 1040.1
