     King Edgar (of Scotland) was born circa 1074/75 in Scotland.2 He was the son of King Malcom III (of Scotland) Ceannmor and Saint Margaret (of Scotland).1 King Edgar (of Scotland) died on 8 January 1106/7 at Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2 He was buried in Dunfermline, Fifeshire, Scotland.2
     King Edgar (of Scotland) became King of Scotland in 1097 replacing King Donald 'Bane' III (of Scotland).1 King Edgar (of Scotland) was replaced as King of Scotland by King Alexander I (of Scotland) in 1107.1
