     King David I 'The Saint' (of Scotland) was born between 1080 and 1082? of Scotland.1 He was the son of King Malcom III (of Scotland) Ceannmor and Saint Margaret (of Scotland).2 King David I 'The Saint' (of Scotland) married Matilda (Maud) Huntington, daughter of Earl Waltheof (of Northumberland) and Judith (of Boulogne), in 1113/14 in Scotland.1,2 King David I 'The Saint' (of Scotland) died on 24 May 1153 in Carlisle, Cumberland, England.1 He was buried in Dunfermline, Fifeshire, Scotland.1
     King David I 'The Saint' (of Scotland) became King of Scotland in 1124 replacing King Alexander I (of Scotland).2 King David I 'The Saint' (of Scotland) was replaced as King of Scotland by King Malcolm IV 'The Maiden' (of Scotland) in 1153.2
