     Princess Marguerite (of France) was born in 1275 of Paris, Isle De France, France.1 She was the daughter of King Philip III "the Bold" (of France).2 Princess Marguerite (of France) married King Edward I "Longshanks" (of England), son of King Henry III (of England) and Queen Eleanor (of Provence), on 10 September 1299 at Cathedral, Canterbury, Kent, England.1,2,4 Princess Marguerite (of France) died on 14 February 1317 at Marlborough Castle, Marlborough, England.1 She was buried in Grey Friars, London, England.1
     Marguerite's father King Philip III "the Bold" (of France) died on 5 October 1285 in Perpignan, Toulouse, France.4 Princess Marguerite (of France) became the mother of Prince Thomas 'of Brotherton' (of England) on 1 June 1300.1 Princess Marguerite (of France) became the mother of Prince Edmund 'of Woodstock' (of England) on 5 August 1301.1 Princess Marguerite (of France) became the mother of Princess Eleonor (of England) on 4 May 1306.1 Princess Marguerite (of France) became a widow with the death of her husband, King Edward I "Longshanks" (of England) on 7 July 1307 in Burgh-on-the-Sands, Cumberland, England, at age 68.4 Marguerite's daughter Princess Eleonor (of England) died in 1311.1
