     Princess Marie of France, daughter of King Louis VII "the Young" (of France) and Queen Eleanor (of Aquitaine), was born in 1145 in France.1,2 Princess Marie of France was the daughter of King Louis VII "the Young" (of France) and Queen Eleanor (of Aquitaine).2 Princess Marie of France married Count Henry I "the Generous" of Champagne and Brie, son of Count Thibaud IV (II) (of Blois and Champagne) and Mathilda von Sponheim, in 1164. Princess Marie of France died on 11 March 1198.1,2
     She became the mother of Count Theobald III of Briey on 13 January 1179.1 Marie's father King Louis VII "the Young" (of France) died on 18 September 1180 in Paris, France.1
