     Earl Roger Mortimer, son of Earl Edmund Mortimer and Countess Philippa Plantagenet, was born on 11 April 1374 in Usk, Monmouthshire, England.2 Earl Roger Mortimer was the son of Earl Edmund Mortimer and Countess Philippa Plantagenet.1 Earl Roger Mortimer married Eleanor Holland, daughter of Thomas de Holand and Alice Fitzalan, circa 7 October 1388.2,1 Earl Roger Mortimer died on 20 July 1398 in Kells, Meath, Ireland, at age 24.2
