Lieut. Williams Fobes was born between 1649 and 1650.2 He was the son of John Fobes and Constance Mitchell. Lieut. Williams Fobes married Martha Pabodie, daughter of William Pabodie and Elizabeth Alden, about 1682.2 Lieut. Williams Fobes died in 1712 in Little Compton, Newport County, Rhode Island.2
He became the father of Elizabeth Fobes in 1683.2 Lieut. Williams Fobes became the father of Constant Fobes in 1686.2 Lieut. Williams Fobes became the father of Mary Fobes in 1689.2 Lieut. Williams Fobes became the father of Mercy Fobes in 1694.2 Williams's daughter was married at wedding of Mary Fobes and Edward Southworth on 17 March 1707/8.3 Williams's daughter was married at wedding of Constant Fobes and John Little of Marshfield on 8 April 1708.2 Williams's daughter was married at wedding of Elizabeth Fobes and William Briggs on 10 June 1708.2
